Jay Boland to sing Bruno Mars hit in 'Voice of Ireland' semi final

'Treasure' by American pop star Bruno Mars is the song which will be performed by Athlone's Jay Boland in the semi finals of The Voice of Ireland on RTÉ One this weekend. 

Jay's journey on the popular TV show is now reaching a crunch stage as two the remaining six contestants will be eliminated this weekend. 

The final four will then battle it out in the Grand Final on Sunday, April 27. 

Speaking to the Westmeath Independent earlier this week, Jay thanked everyone for their support so far and appealed to people to cast their votes for him this weekend to help him reach the final.

The prize for winning the show is a record contract, which Jay said would be 'a dream come true.'

The Voice of Ireland semi final will be broadcast on RTÉ One this Sunday at 6.30pm.
