Nominate your local newsagent of the year!

The closing date is fast approaching in the Westmeath Independent’s competition to find our readers’ newsagent of the year.

If you feel that your local newsagent is worthy of this coveted title then your nomination could help earn the winning store a free page advertorial in our paper, along with a framed certificate and a luxury weekend for two in a top Irish hotel.

All reader nominations will also be entered into a draw to win fabulous meal for two in a top local restaurant.

Entrants can be nominated in either of two categories: A) Independent shops, or B) branches of a national chain store.

The closing date for receipt of your nominations is this Friday, March 28.

The inaugural Newsagent of the Year awards are designed to promote and highlight excellent service provided by newsagents in the Westmeath Independent’s circulation area.

Each newsagent who is nominated will be judged on criteria such as sales profile, in-store promotions, and commitment to its local community.

To nominate your favourite newsagent, just fill out the entry form on page 10 of this week’s Westmeath Independent and return it to our office at 11 Sean Costello Street, Athlone, by Friday, March 28.
