Death of former Tubber priest Fr Michael Walsh

Former Tubber parish priest Fr Michael Walsh, who died yesterday (Monday) will be reposing at the Church of the Holy Family in Tubber today.

A native of Navan, Fr Walsh was appointed parish priest of Tubber, Moate, in 1985.

He died peacefully at the Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, and is survived by his brother, Brendan, sisters Joan and Eileen.

Fr Walsh's remains will be reposing at the Church of the Holy Family, Tubber, today from 4pm until 7.15pm, with funeral prayers at 7.30pm.

The funeral mass will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Kilcurley Cemetery, Tubber.
