Roscommon County Youth Orchestra performs at National Concert Hall
The Roscommon County Youth Orchestra performed recently at the National Concert Hall as part of the Association of Irish Youth Orchestras Annual Festival.
The orchestra has members from across county Roscommon, as well as from Athlone and Moate. They are tutored and conducted by Natalia Gorovenco, Monksland; Gerry Lacey, Bealnamulla and Cathal Roche from Sligo.
The Roscommon County Youth Orchestra are to be honoured by Roscommon County Council with a civic reception March 28 in the Roscommon Arts Centre.
