Draft town development plan goes on public display

The Draft Athlone Town Development Plan 2014-2020 is on public display at Athlone Civic Centre. The plan is on display until April 12 and is available for inspection at Athlone Civic Centre and County Buildings in Mullingar. You can also view the draft development plan on the town council's website http://www.athlone.ie/udc/draftatp2014-2020/ Copies of the plan are also available for purchase from the Forward Planning section of Westmeath County Council in Mullingar, costing €100 or €10 in electronic format. Written submissions or observations are invited from members of the public and other interested parties. Written submissions or observations, should be marked 'Draft Athlone Town Development Plan', and submitted to Town Clerk, Athlone Town Council, Civic Centre, Athlone until 5pm on Friday April 11. Written submissions or observations may also be made via email at atp@athlonetc.ie. Submissions should include the full name and address of the person making the submission and where relevant, the body or organisation represented.
