Westmeath to face the Judge on Sunday ...
By Kieran Galvin Colm Judge returns to the Louth team after a long absence for the Allianz Football League Division 2 opener against Westmeath on Sunday (Cusack Park, 2pm). Newtown Blues attacker Judge and Shane Lennon are likely to be two of the main threats to the Westmeath defence in Sunday's game. They will be joined in the full forward line by Kevin Rogers. And with two league points of vital importance on Sunday, Westmeath fans will be hoping it won't be a case of Judge, Jury and Executioner! Despite injury doubts about midfield star Paddy Keenan and Andy McDonnell, both players have been named in the Louth team. Keenan will be partnered by Brian Donnelly as the Wee County prepare for their first league game under Armagh's Aidan O'Rourke. There is plenty of talent on the Louth bench, which contains such players as Mick Fanning, Ronan Carroll, Brian White, Ray Finnegan and Derek Maguire. Incidentally, admission to Sunday's game - and indeed to all rounds of the Allianz Leagues in football and hurling - is free for under-16s (must be accompanied by an adult).
