Group B: St Dominic"s, Roscommon Gaels, Oran. Group C: St Faithleach"s St Ciaran"s, St Aidan"s. Group D: Michael Glavey"s, St Croan"s, Kilbride, Eire Óg. Group E: Strokestown, Boyle, Castlerea. Group F: Tulsk, Elphin, Western Gaels. Group G: Shannon Gaels, St Ronan"s, St Michael"s. Group H: Ballinameen, Kilglass Gaels, Kilmore, St Barry"s. NB All clubs are to play 3 U8 and 3 U10 blitzes before Saturday 27th June with each club hosting one U 8 and one U 10 blitz. All Blitzes are to be 7 or 9 a-side games (only). No 15 a-side games allowed by any clubs. Host club to appoint referees. Fun, enjoyment and full participation of all players is the ethos of the Go Games. The rules for all Go Games at U8/U10 blitzes are as follows. Playing Rules Play commences with a kick out from the hands; Goalkeeper may advance; No shoulder charge allowed; Four steps & one bounce before playing the ball away; Player makes clear effort to pick up ball using the foot; Frees taken from the hand; Player nearest the ball takes technical foul frees & sidelines; Opposing players back 5m from free taker. Forty fives taken from 20m line. Free kicks no closer than 10m from opposing endline. Primary school hurling Go Games blitzes Roscommon coaching and games development held their primary school hurling Go games blitz days for all players in 5th and 6th class last week and the following numbers attended. The blitzes were organised and run by the full and part time hurling coaches along with TY students from Roscommon CBS and Castlerea CS. Four Roads: 35 boys and girls; St Croan"s: 87 boys and girls; St Dominic"s: 79 boys and girls; Dr Hyde Park: 96 boys and girls; Castlerea: 83 boys and girls.
