Country music couple for Moate"s The Well

The Fermanagh and Wexford combination of Thomas Maguire and Fhiona Ennis are bringing their own brand of country music to Moate"s The Well on Saturday, April 18. The group is currently riding high in the popularity charts of a lot of local radio stations as they tirelessly sport their wares around all the popular dancing venues in Ireland, England and Scotland. The popular couple were thrilled to receive an award for Best Duet at The Limerick 102FM Radio Awards held in Templeglantine. They also have been nominated for an award on The NICMA Awards 2009 to be held at The Tullyglass Hotel, Ballymena, Co Antrim, today (Wednesday). August 2009 sees them appear at The UTV Country Fest 2009 to be held at The King"s Hall Belfast, appearing alongside American country superstars Randy Travis, Martina McBride and Ray Price. Thomas and Fhiona also have been awarded a lucrative contract to appear at The Harvey"s Point Summer Cabaret Show in Lough Eske, Co Donegal, from June 24 to October 22. Appearances for Thomas, Fhiona and the band over the sea in July include The Halifax Irish Festival, the ever popular Southwark Irish Festival in London and The Invergordon Festival, Scotland. Their profile has been raised significantly recently by the release of their latest single "Come Back To Ireland", which is receiving great airplay all over Ireland, England and further afield. They are also currently in the studio putting the final touches to a new single from the pen of their manager, Henry McMahon which is due for release in April.
