Lecarrow to host coaching course

Budding soccer coaches in the South Roscommon area have a chance to avail of the FAI"s Kick-Start 1 Coaching Course this coming weekend. The FAI Kick-Start 1 Coaching Course (first coaching badge) will be held at the Roscommon & District Football League Headquarters in Lecarrow, Co Roscommon, over the course of Friday and Saturday (January 16 and 17). On Friday evening, the course begins at 7pm and will run for three hours. It then resumes on Saturday morning at the same venue from 10am. Participants must be 16 years or over and the cost of the course is €45 per person. The course is designed to assist parents and coaches to introduce children (aged 6-9 years) to fun soccer games and fundamental movement skills in a well-structured, stimulating and safe environment.
