"Promises, Promises" comes to The Dean Crowe Theatre

Following the huge success of its Passionfruit debut, "Promises, Promises", written by local playwright Margaret McKenna Mullan is back for two nights at the Dean Crowe Theatre on Friday and Saturday, December 5 and 6 next. If you enjoyed The Sleeveens or Let"s Twist Again you are in for a night of side splitting laughter when No Fixed Abode Group hit the stage with Margaret"s latest play. "Promises Promises" is a touching and funny story of two widows, mother and daughter both striving to cope with their own complicated situation. Winifred, with the amorous advances of Peadar the egotistical bachelor farmer, and Roseleen her mother, with the strange side effects of her new medication, which drive her man mad. Winifred O"Grady is played by Aileen Keena a superb up and coming young talent. Peadar McGreevy is excellently played by Ronan Emmett, Mickaleen McGreevy is played by specialist character actor Sheamus McKenna, Father Morriarty is brilliantly played by Frankie Keena, while Rosaleen O"Grady is superbly played by Margaret McKenna Mullan.
